At 390cms (13ft)* it is a crisp 6:4 action but then you can extend the rod up to 14ft 6ins (442cms)* and then action changes to a softer, more delicate 5:5

A good versatile rod for both beginners and avid enthusiasts fishing for Trout, Grayling and most coarse species. The extendibility of the rod makes it perfect for medium to larger rivers where extra reach is an advantage.

Made for all methods Tenkara fishing from dead drifts to the traditional Sutebari method. Excels at 'Western' techniques of duo/trio-ing and Czech nymphing. Line management is exceptional due to the extra length of the rod.

• 12ft furled leader matched with 5x (4lbs) tippet material up to 5 ft long
• 0.32mm level line of Co-polymer or Fluorocarbon, normally Hi-Viz and 10ft to 30ft long dependent upon casting ability, conditions and fishing method. Tippet of 3ft or longer of 5x (4lbs) material of choice.
