Fishing Applications

A very good rod for all abilities fishing on medium sized rivers fishing for Trout and Grayling or most coarse species.

The crisp 6:4 action makes the rod ideal for any traditional Tenkara method of fishing in addition to 'Western' style dry fly, nymphs, wet flies/spiders, and Duo/trio-ing and Czech nymphing.

Leader recommendations

• 10ft to 11ft furled leader with a tippet of up to 5ft of 5x (4lbs)
• 0.32mm level line of Co-polymer or Fluorocarbon, normally Hi-Viz and 10ft to 30ft long dependent upon casting ability, conditions and fishing method. Tippet of 3ft or longer of 5x (4lbs) material of choice.
